Alcohol rehab and drug rehab near Staffordshire
If you’re hiding your drug use, lashing out at loved ones when you don’t have access to drugs, dipping into your family savings to fund your addiction, or increasing your dose every day to feel the euphoric high you need, you will probably need professional help to quit substance abuse and/or alcohol abuse.
Drug and alcohol rehab helps you achieve freedom from addiction, sets you on the right path to recovery, resolves legal troubles, helps you acquire skills that make you employable, mends broken relationships with loved ones, and helps you learn coping skills to manage stress and triggers without resorting to drug use.

The Pros and Cons of Private Rehab
The Pros
Private rehab centres are thorough when it comes to the care of patients. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re on your way to recovery. South Yorkshire rehabs don’t just treat physical signs of addiction, but also incorporate holistic techniques to address every aspect of the patient’s needs, including emotional and mental wellbeing.
Private rehabs rarely have a waiting list. When they do, it’s usually short, unlike NHS options where patients have to wait months to receive treatment. You can even enrol the same day to receive treatment.
One of the best features of private rehab is the privacy. Your detox, therapy, and treatment are all private. In state programmes, community detox and community prescribing are the norm. You also have to share accommodation with strangers.
The Cons
The only con to private rehab is the cost of treatment, which is expensive. If you’ve never been away from home, it might take a while to settle in, and start participating in treatment programmes.
How Much Does Rehab Cost in South Yorkshire?
Private rehabs are self-funded, so they are more expensive than state-funded rehab. The benefit to these rehab centres is that patients enjoy the highest quality of care, from some of the best addiction counsellors in South Yorkshire.
The average price of addiction treatment in the UK is £5,000 for a 28-30-day rehab stay. Some rehab centres charge up to £2,500 for detox, whilst others include it as part of inpatient treatment. Luxury treatment is more expensive. There you enjoy more amenities such as massages, fine dining, highly personalised care, and private rooms. Executive programmes start at £10,000 a week and go up to £50,000 a month.

How to Choose a Recovery Programme
A few questions to ask when choosing a rehab centre include:
Inpatient or outpatient treatment
The answer to this question depends on your treatment needs. Do you require specialised treatment? Have you combined drugs? Do you have any co-occurring disorders? Have you tried to quit in the past and failed, or have you recently relapsed? If yes to any of these, inpatient treatment is for you. Outpatient treatment is suited for those who have a mild addiction, or who are high functioning addicts whose drug/alcohol use has not affected their personal life.
Luxury rehab or standard rehab
Whilst both treatments are excellent, there is a slight difference amongst them. Luxury rehab programmes offer more in terms of amenities and comfort. You have access to fining dining, large private rooms, massage therapy, nutrition therapy, animal therapy, music & art therapy, and more. They go above and beyond conventional treatment techniques to maximise all treatment efforts, whilst ensuring your comfort in the centre.
Accreditation of the rehab centre
Before trimming down your list, ensure that all the rehab centres you’re looking at are accredited to treat your specific addiction or dual diagnosis. Addiction specialists should equally be licensed to practice.
